The first step in my five-dungeon journey was the Golem Dungeon which sets the bar fairly low in comparison to its successors, however this time is well-spent learning the consistent basics of the game. There was, however, a bit of excitement in the form of a preview of the next phase in my adventure. Every dungeon has the chance to reveal a differently-themed room, and what’s more is that you can often find these same rooms as you explore the dungeons they came from. The Forest Dungeon was memorable for its lethal poison, the Desert Dungeon learned a move from Jesus and turned poison into lava before introducing teleportation, so what is the Tech Dungeon known for? For me, it grew to become the ugly duckling of the bunch. It reimagined the lava as electrified water, but it dropped the teleportation trickery from the Desert Dungeon and at first I thought that it failed to introduce an attribute of its own.
